Seaside unveils a unique Neapolitan-style pizza experience at Don Tonitos, ensuring an unparalleled culinary journey. Immerse yourself in the opulence of high-quality ingredients—organic arugula sourced from The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant’s expansive 600-acre garden and fresh cheese from a neighboring Mennonite community—artfully arranged on a soft, circular dough. This exquisite combination encounters the intense heat of a crackling fire within a fogon, surpassing 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

The perfectly-charred pies, a testament to the expertise honed by our local pizzaiolos, are served al fresco, beneath the rustling branches where the seabreeze adds a touch of coastal magic to your dining experience.

Topped with herbs hand-picked from our garden and local Mennonite cheese, this is not your midnight pizza run. Don Tonito’s specializes in wood fired pizza baked in custom-made traditional fogons for that ultimate crisp in every bite. The fogon is lit up early in the morning, burning with chopped wood and carefully monitored to achieve the right temperature. From the in-house tomato sauce to the bright arugula to the drizzle of vinaigrette – expect only the freshest of ingredients on your slice.

Sorrel, a relative to hibiscus and native to West Africa, has long been used to make wines and is a Belizean tradition especially in the Kriol culture where wine would be made in preparation of visits around Christmas by neighbors. Here we are utilizing the essence of the plant to render a slightly tart yet refreshing cocktail reminiscent of a daiquiri.
